Homemade Mints Recipe

This is a great recipe for a party or baby shower. Every time I serve these they are a hit! These mints are easy to make, and they are so delicious!

Homemade Mints

Ingredients:

8oz. cream cheese
2lbs powder sugar
1/4 tsp. peppermint oil or 1 to 1 1/2 tsp. peppermint flavoring
Mint molds (found at Michael's craft store) or small cookie cutters

Directions:

1.  Mix ingredients together

2. Shape mints in mint mold or cut with cookie cutter. (If using mint mold dust with powder sugar)

3. Line baking sheet with wax paper and place mints laying flat on the baking sheet.

4. Carefully lay a piece of wax paper on top of mints to cover them.

5. Let mints air dry for 3 days. When mints are ready put on a dish and serve!

These mints sound divine! They sound like a more decadent version of an after-dinner mint. I am gonna have to try them out soon. Thanks for sharing.
